Radio France Studios
Studio 652 hosts a mathematical transformation that allows to distort the spatiality of the studio, by generating two complementary spaces. Space changes as well in its scales as in its depth. From the entrance to the plateau, the line is continuous. It splits while going through the studio, which allows us to consider the different plans that serve as support, like an anamorphosis.
Studio 451 represents the metaphor of the fold: the pattern signifies as well an acoustic need as a domestic dimension. The felt assembled as a hand-made “smock”, serves in the meantime as a coating and as a mould in order to reproduce a similar wall, having distinct acoustics properties.
Studio 351 propels us into a futuristic look environment. An infinite curved device, crowned by a light centerpiece, then nothingness. The technical elements seem to be levitating, and embrace the curves of the stage, inspired by a cyclorama.
Studio 542 is surrounded by moving sails. The envelope is accomplice with its actors, it reacts to the sound it encompasses. It reassures us, surprises us, frightened us, makes us laugh, so it doesn’t keep us unconcerned.
Studio 551 is the conversion, the duplication of a common pattern, which by its extreme use, offers a unique space, close to be futuristic. Shimmed by a backlit element, it offers an encompassing light experience.
Studio 342 manipulates the so-called timeless materiality of marble. Vertical levitating panels sequence the stage. Technical elements are sometimes apparent, sometimes hidden, according to the angle under which you experiment the space.
