In 2004, Clément Blanchet completed an internship at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA, an agency founded in 1975 by Rem Koolhaas, Madelon Vriesendorp, Elia Zenghelis and Zoe Zenghelis) in Rotterdam, where he participated in several competitions. He quickly joined the agency as an architect and, from 2006, he was the architect in charge of several projects and competitions. In 2008 he was appointed Associate.

From 2011 to 2014, Clément Blanchet was the director of OMA France. Creating his own company in 2014, he remained an associate architect of OMA on several projects that he has developed in France: the Alexis de Tocqueville library (delivered in 2017), the Centrale School of Paris-Saclay (completed in 2018), the MEETT in Toulouse ( completed in 2020), the Simone Veil bridge in Bordeaux (won in 2013, under construction).
