Rochelais Stadium Headquarter

The project is not an architectural form but the setting up of an architectural process where all the spectators and employees of Stade Rochelais will be able to participate in a new experience. Our project proposes to reinvent and reinforce the identity of Stade Rochelais.

It is inspired by the immemorial paradigm of the oval thanks to its kinetic facades which dedicate the close link of the club with its city. Beyond the only building, the project is mainly dedicated to the functionality and the reception of supporters. It allows transparency, frames the views towards the great landscape and the stadium, offering everyone an active eventful roof.

In summary our projects builds a new image for the club, between eclecticism and unity. An emblematic institution of La Rochelle, but resolutely popular, oriented towards sharing and communion. The building wants to adapt the needs and life of Stade Rochelais. It offers an evolutionary programmatic configuration.

On its roof, the space is fully adjustable and can receive supporters associations, a partner event, a sport session at leisure, birthdays, a team-building session, a business seminar, an exhibition, … in sum a capable space that will allow the headquarters to assume its role as head reactor of the galaxy Stade Rochelais.

In addition, the structural system offers an infinite variety of plan configurations. In fact, thanks to a system of bracing on the facade, the building is a kind of “free” composition that allows the exibility of common workspaces according to what will develop during the life of the club and the club evolution of the physical preparations of the players.
