Clément Blanchet Architecture is published with a contribution on the University Research center of Carrefour and its #plan.

"The plan explores and coordinates places, situations, views, textures and uses.

The project 'captures' nature and at the same time reinvents it.

It manipulates the vocabulary of the city; there are squares, alleyways, belvederes, an agora...

There is an equivalence between the full and the empty, between a wild landscape and a domesticated one.

The plan allows for the unknown of encounters and chance.

There are rules of order, but also some free electrons. It offers scenarios for living.

The architecture of the plan is unifying: a large hypostyle hall unites the functional units. It is this overall diversity that is unified by a simple, effective grid.

The framework is landscaped, spreading out over the area while providing a focal point at its center.

It proposes a strategy for a city that can emancipate itself or positively contaminate its territory. There is a symbiosis between architecture and geography.

In this way, the project is a complex and deductive space, composed from a multiplicity of centers and developed by successive echoes of shapes, volumes and images: a space of emotion that superimposes, splits and redoubles its elements to create, in the strongest sense, an atmosphere.

An environment that embraces Man and thereby removes him from the simple role of spectator."
