We are among the winners!

This week, December 14, 2021, in the presence of the Minister Barbara Pompili, @clementblanchet received a mention for his project "Les ru.e.s de la Boire’ on the Tours Métropole Val de Loire -Rochepinard site.

"Through the renaturation of the course of the Bois de Plante Boire, the project recaptures a complex way of thinking about the site's relationship with water and risk through the prism of uses and the place of living things.

The Rochepinard - la Peupleraie sector is a site conquered, like so many others, from the natural space of the Cher that was intended to be contained. Gone is the alluvial plain landscape, here is the metropolitan site with its large facilities, its large leisure, logistics and commercial areas.

After the radical intervention of the great works of 60 years ago, the time has come for the modern work to be questioned, dissected and probably deconstructed. Today, being exposed to risk no longer implies putting on armour; on the contrary, it seems that it is time to learn to tame it.

The project recaptures a complex way of thinking about the site's relationship with water and risk through the prism of its uses and the place of the living. We are not proposing a total upheaval of the site but the exploitation of its interstitial spaces to put it back in a position to profiter its geographical assets."
