Design of the new Circus

Clément Blanchet Architecture has been announced as the winner of an international invited competition for the design of the new Circus ³, a 1,500 seats cultural center in Triangle de Gonesse, France.

"The contemporary circus is the demonstration of an historical synthesis and at the same time of a technological engagement. The superposition of programs and potentials improves the great entertainment but also maintains a collective memory of the classical typology."

Other competitors were Bernard Tschumi & Moreau Kusunoki.
